This is how the guys behind Killerfish  describe their Energy – Drink. We'll check this slogan out as we did in the other reviews. We would also like to thank the Killerfish team for the generous promotion package. This includes a cooling bag, 2 stickers, 6 cans of Killerfish and a pack of adhesive tape. The cooling bag is pretty stylish, what deserves a special mentioning . Thank you Killerfish !!!

Smell

After opening the can you will directly notice strong Energy aroma.

Taste

Warm

The common opinion among the people who already tasted it, is that it has got a different taste than a typical Energy – Drink. Recently many producers only produced a drink with the typical Energy aroma, which is in fact nothing special,  and put their own label on it for promoting themselves. That’s why we were looking forward to taste something different.

If you take the first gulp you may be like:” OK, it does not taste like a typical Energy – Drink but it is similar.” However, if you take a really close look at the taste you will notice some differences. Killerfish is more sour than sweet. Furthermore it tastes a kind of foamed. It's like drinking the foam of some well shaken coke and the drink at the same time.

The warm drink leaves a slightly sour but fruity in your mouth

Cold

Now let's take a closer look at a cold can of Killerfish. Killerfish leaves a totally different impression when it's served cold than when you drink it warm. At this point the expected berry flavor comes through and makes the drink much more interesting. Nevertheless the foamed condition is like when you're enjoying a warm can. However, this drink does not refresh you that much.

Design 

The design of the can is very simple. The background of the can is colored in a glossy blue with a big piranha -the companie's logo- printed in the middle of the can.

Effect

The effect of this drink is weak and lasts for like one hour.

Conclusion

To sum up we'd say:” different but nothing special “. Concerning the style there's nothing to criticize. It is very stylish and gets your attention. The effect is too weak for an Energy – Drink and actually this is one of the most important criteria for an good Energy – Drink. The taste of Killerfish is similar to the typical Energy Drink aroma. The differences are its foamed condition and the slight fruity note. For every can collector this can is a Must – Have because of its design. For every other person it would be interesting to taste.
